Unlike some gyms, Fitness Connection does list a number of rules that all members should observe when using their sauna facilities:
- Rinse off before entering the sauna (after workouts)
- Bathing suits or other suitable clothing is mandatory (towel-only is NOT allowed)
- Wait at least 5 minutes after exercise before entering
- No shaving, lotions, creams, loofahs, etc. allowed
- No food or drink allowed (even water)
- No gym equipment allowed
- No drying personal items
- Can’t leave papers, magazines, or books inside the sauna
- No pouring water on sauna rocks or heaters
- The temperature should not exceed 180 degrees Fahrenheit
- The maximum time inside the sauna is 10-15 minutes
