A little knowledge. A better sauna.

Sauna Rituals: Guided Audio Sauna Sessions

A sauna session has a shape: you warm up, you sit in the heat, you cool down, and then you rest. Most people cut the last part short because nothing tells them when it is over. A ritual does that for you, out loud, so you can put the phone down and stop counting.

Pick a session below, start it on your phone, and leave the phone outside the hot room next to a speaker. Chimes mark every change of phase, so you know when to step out, when to cool down and when the rest period is done – without looking at a screen.

Pick a ritual

Audio-first sessions that time your rounds for you. Start it, leave the phone outside the hot room with a speaker, and let the sound tell you when to move.

Prefer to follow along on screen? Here is the full Reset session as a 10-minute video.

How the sessions are built

Each ritual is one continuous audio track: a quiet soundscape that changes with every phase, and a chime at each transition. Nothing needs to stay on screen, and nothing is streamed from a third party - the audio is ours and it plays straight from this site.

  • Settle in - low room tone, time to sit down and let your breathing slow.
  • Heat - a warm ember bed. Stay as long as it feels good, leave early if it does not.
  • Cool down - water textures, your cue to step out and cool off properly.
  • Rest - a deep drone for the part most people skip. Sit, drink, stay warm.
  • Close - three soft chimes and the room goes quiet.

Want to build your own timing instead of following a ritual? Use the sauna session timer, where every phase length is yours to set. If you are still working out how hot and how long, start with our guide to the right sauna temperature.

Sauna bathing is a relaxation practice, not a treatment. If you are pregnant, have heart or circulation problems, or take medication that affects blood pressure, ask your doctor before using a sauna, and never use one after drinking alcohol.
